According to the Red Cross Society, which operates the National Blood Center of Thailand, they have been unable to maintain the amount of blood donations at 1,600 to 2,000 units a day.

Therefore, they are facing a shortage of blood in its blood bank, as at least 5,000 – 6,000 units of blood have been withdrawn per day.

Therefore, the society has launched a campaign encouraging Thais to donate their blood for an emergency use from now on. People who want to donate should go to the National Blood Center on the Henri Dunant road in Bangkok.
